Create
Basics -
Name - Windows 10 - OneDrive for Business - AutoConfig and Redirection
Description - This automatically configures OneDrive for Business and Known Folder Redirection
Next
Configuration Settings -
Select - All Settings
In the search field - Enter the keyword - OneDrive
Look for and select - Use OneDrive Files On-Demand (note - you may need to find it on the second screen)
Select - Enabled
OK

Next we need to set that OneDrive will silently sync -
Keep the search term - OneDrive in the All Settings
Find and Select - Silently sign in users to the OneDrive sync app with their Windows credentials
Select - Enabled
OK
Next, we need to prevent users from changing the location of their OneDrive folder
Keep the search term - OneDrive in the All Settings
Find - Prevent users from changing the location of their OneDrive folder -
Select - Enabled -
Notice that we need to specify the Tenant ID for this to apply
To apply this change, we need to get the Tenant ID (value)
This is available in the Azure AD Portal under Properties.
Open the Azure AD Portal - Link
Properties -
Copy the tenant ID to notepad as we will need it again shortly
Paste the tenant ID into the Name section
Enter the number 1 into the value section

Configure Known Folders Redirection.
Microsoft recommends two settings to ensure known folders are copied.
- Silently move Windows known folders to OneDrive
- Prompt users to move Windows known folders to OneDrive
If moving the known folders silently does not succeed, users will be prompted to correct the error and continue.
Keep the search term - OneDrive in the All Settings
Look for and select - Silently move Windows known folders to OneDrive
Select - Enabled.
Enter the tenant ID (saved in notepad previously)
Select - Yes - to notify users that folders have been redirected.
Keep the search term - OneDrive in the All Settings
Find and select - Prompt users to move Windows known folders to OneDrive
Select - Enabled
Paste the tenant ID (saved in notepad previously)
OK
Clear the Filter keywords
Change the State column to view the Enabled options
The following five options are correct.
Once confirmed - Click Next to continue
Scope tags - Ignore
Next
Assignments -
Add Groups -
Search for and select the groups to be assigned.
Tip - Assign the same groups that are assigned the Microsoft 365 apps.
It is important to target both user and device groups as some of these configuration profile settings target a user or a device.
Click - Select -
The groups assigned will now show.
Next
Review and Create -
